Who we are:
At Next Door we seek to be good neighbours, particularly to those living in difficult socioeconomic circumstances. We gather together for meals and social activities. We also use our facility to prepare healthy meals that are distributed throughout the community.
In whatever we are doing, we seek to build a community of trust and respect, which is welcoming to all.
Our History
As a ministry of Forestview Church we first opened our doors in 2012; an outgrowth of our work with the Compassion Society and Motel Ministry. Originially located alongside Compassion Societs, in 2015 we located to our current site where we are excited to be a “next door” neighbour to the Warwick Surrey community. From the very beginning, we have proudly hosted Rolling Horse Community Cycle – Burlington not for profit bike shop. In fall 2017 we expanded in the adjoining unit opening Next Door Kitchen – a space for learning healthy cooking and sharing food with one another.
